Dinuka Dasanayaka
Department of Chemical and Process Engineering - Year 1
I am an undergraduate in Chemical and Process Engineering with a focused interest in sustainable energy systems and automotive technologies. I am particularly driven by how core engineering principles—thermodynamics, transport phenomena, and process design—can be applied to improve efficiency, reduce emissions, and enable cleaner energy solutions. Alongside my engineering foundation, I am actively building skills in machine learning and data-driven modeling to complement traditional process engineering approaches. My goal is to work at the intersection of engineering systems and intelligent optimization, especially in areas such as energy conversion, battery and EV-related technologies, and process performance analysis. I am continuously learning, experimenting, and seeking opportunities that challenge me to translate theory into practical, impactful solutions—contributing to a more efficient and sustainable future through engineering.
